I appreciate this information, it was very helpful.
To expand on your note a little bit about energy efficient upgrades I always suggest my clients remove their old light bulbs with new energy efficient light bulbs. The great thing is they are are defined they have a neat little designation on them that shows you they are energy efficient. If you are on a tight budget, that’s okay buy one or two at a time when you have the extra cash and then once you have enough install them all. We have noticed the lights in the house is brighter, the lights last longer and our energy bill has gone down and we have even received a tax credit for just changing out our light bulbs. A simple task but so often overlooked!
