Between managing a restaurant and delighting Clients on TaskRabbit, Sarah K. from St. Louis is a one-woman powerhouse! But balancing two jobs at the same time has paid off—thanks to tasking Sarah is now debt-free.
For all the work Sarah puts in, she likes to unwind with a glass of wine or a pour of great bourbon after a long day. Read on to gain insights on how Sarah juggles a busy schedule and how she finds time for herself every day.
What did you do for a living before becoming a Tasker?
I work in a fine dining restaurant as both a manager and server.
What is the primary reason why you joined TaskRabbit?
I found myself having extra time after my shifts at the restaurant and wanted to make more money quickly to pay down my debts.
How do you market yourself to Clients?
With my Tasker profile. I created a detailed profile to let Clients know what I specialize in and some personal information to let them know a bit about me. I find that by adding some personal touches helps my Clients feel more comfortable hiring me.
What is the most meaningful connection you’ve made through tasking?
The most meaningful connection I made was with a couple who was going through a separation. I helped them clean and organize their family home, especially with them now being empty nesters. I could feel how impactful my cleaning help was for them. Separations are emotionally draining enough without having to think about cleaning! They were so grateful and I would love to work for them again.
How has TaskRabbit impacted your life?
I am so thankful for the work that TaskRabbit has provided for me. Thanks to TaskRabbit, I’ve paid down my debt faster than I could have ever imagined!
What’s your hidden talent?
I love to sing!
What do you do to unwind?
I like to enjoy a good glass of wine or a pour of great bourbon—either works for me!
It’s no surprise that Sarah was able to pay down her debts so quickly with her putting in the time and the hustle with two jobs! Like so many others on TaskRabbit, Sarah appreciates the flexibility Tasking offers and leverages it to make extra income. Sing (and hustle) your heart out, Sarah!
