For his mounting Skills & Experience pitch, Anthony writes I’m some people’s Mount Rushmore of mounting achievements! I’m 6’2” and the owner of a 26’ Gorilla Ladder with ample strength to make objects of all shapes and sizes hug the wall like a clingy koala.”

With flawless metrics and almost 300 tasks completed, Anthony takes Client satisfaction very seriously, and has the raving reviews to prove it! His favorite thing about tasking? Making meaningful connections with his Clients, and helping people problem-solve so they can get back to doing what they enjoy.

What did you do for a living before becoming a Tasker?

I’m an actor in Los Angeles, and I also do professional photography and videography.

What is the primary reason why you joined TaskRabbit?

I wanted to continue to stay sharp in working with my hands rather than in the arts, and TaskRabbit has really helped me hit my personal financial goals every month.

What helped you accept and complete your first task?

To be honest, accepting and completing my first task definitely made me take a leap of faith in trying out something new; I just put a bit of trust in TaskRabbit knowing that everything was going to work out okay. Lo and behold, it did!

How do you market yourself to Clients?

I approach tasking from a fun-loving perspective. Many times, Clients are experiencing pain or frustration in solving a problem, so if I inject a little personality or humor, perhaps it can make the process a bit more enjoyable for everyone.

What is your best tasking memory?

There are too many to choose from! One that stands out is when I helped put together an engagement party event, and was then invited to come back to work as the door host. Any task that results in a Client emphatically giving hugs or feeding me ranks highly in my book as well.

What makes a good Client?

Communication! A good Client is willing to articulate their challenges with high resolution—whether it’s through sending detailed photos or being willing to hash out roadblocks before I arrive.

What’s your top ice-breaker question you ask Clients? (If they’re present at the task)

I personalize my communication. I may notice something on the wall that might be sentimental or that seems meaningful to the Client, and my curious spirit will always find something ask. The environment gives a lot of clues about what’s important, so I do my best to find those kinds of personal connections with my Clients.

What is the most meaningful connection you’ve made through tasking?

I can’t name just one. Interacting with so many different Clients gives me a sense of groundedness that I haven’t experienced before. No matter what our background or standing, everyone has their own personal struggles. It’s inevitable. The more problems I’ve had the privilege of solving for Clients, the more I get the chance to work out that muscle and hopefully have a greater capacity to knock out bigger more complex problems for future Clients. In short, I really find a connection in helping others problem-solve through tasking!

What’s your best advice for other Taskers?

Everyone has challenges and fears of the unknown. I tackle those with research and gradual exposure to new techniques. Patience and willingness to learn and to adapt is key.

How has TaskRabbit impacted your life?

TaskRabbit gives me a platform where I can walk into situations and figure out ways to adapt and solve complex problems, and all the while meeting amazing people from all walks of life.

What’s your hidden talent?

I perform a killer Mufasa and Optimus Prime impression (from the Lion King and Transformers movies).

What do you do to unwind?

I love hitting golf balls at the driving range, knocking pins over at bowling lanes, and flying drones to collect footage over beautiful remote landscapes…you could say I’m an outdoor lover and adventurer! 🎳
