Have you ever considered what a great network for social good TaskRabbit could be? Our community is huge, and our geographical reach is growing every day.
We are passionate about our core values and try to live by them every day. One of these values, sparked by our founding story, is to “Be A Better Neighbor.” It has inspired us to give back to the communities in which we operate—and help make them better places to live.
In honor of International Charity Day today on September 5, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new TaskRabbit for Good pilot program, which starts today in San Francisco!
TaskRabbit for Good (TR4G) is the social good arm of TaskRabbit. We’ve created TR4G as a convenient way for active members of our community—TaskRabbit HQ, Clients, and Taskers—to work together for the greater good. This falls under our overall goals of creating economic opportunity, being planet positive, and catalyzing community impact.
With the TR4G pilot program, TaskRabbit is partnering with Goodwill to help those less fortunate in San Francisco, home to our headquarters. To read about how donations make a difference, read this interview with the Director of Donations for Goodwill in the SF Bay Area. For more information about how the program works, including what to expect, check out this support center article.
Stay tuned in the coming months as we report out on the impact of this pilot program, and the expansion of this and other TaskRabbit for Good programs to other TaskRabbit cities. And we hope you take time today to support your favorite charity!
